The third round of the higher Jordanian-Kuwaiti committee, scheduled to take place in Kuwait in mid-January, will tackle agreements and protocols that will help boost bilateral relations, a Jordanian official said Saturday. It will be held under co-chairmanship of Kuwait"s Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Jordan"s Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, according to Secretary General of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade Dr. Monastir Al-Oqla. In a statement to Kuwait"s News Agency, Dr. Al-Oqla said the meeting"s agenda included prospects of boosting cooperation in the fields of culture, education, tourism, energy, media, transportation, agriculture, investments and economic exchanges. "A number of agreements, protocols and executive programs may also be ratified," he added.
