Dr. Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, the Minister of Health inspected here yesterday a number of health projects in the city of Riyadh. The Minister toured the location of the 300-bed North of Riyadh Hospital and the National Health Laboratory with total cost of their construction amounting to SR300 Million. In a press statement after the tour, Dr. Al-Rabiah announced the participation of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as consultants in the National Health Laboratory, stressing that this step is aimed at improving its standard to become a reference-laboratory at the regional level and at the level of similar renowned laboratories around the world. As much as 12 per cent of the North of Riyadh Hospital and about 85% of the National Health Laboratory construction works have so far been completed.
