Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, and President of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) Jacob Kellenberger are to meet here today, within a co-ordination process between the ICRC and member states. The meeting is set to discuss three main issues, namely: Arrangements on how to allow Saudi families to pay visits to their relatives imprisoned abroad, setting a framework within capacity of ICRC to oversee areas of conflict, how to provide relief to violence-affected areas in Northern Region of Yemen and situation of displaced people and humanitarian aid, and ways to upgrade efficiency of Saudi Red Crescent Authority" workers and make advantage of ICRC expertise.
