Bilad and Al-Madinah newspapers said that Civil Defense has informed citizens in daily reports of the results of searching for missing people. Meanwhile, the Quintet Committee ordered to be formed by the King under the chairmanship of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region, is continuing its investigations to determine the causes of the disaster and the ways to eliminate its effects. The papers noted the spread of mosquitoes and flies in some neighborhoods of Jeddah directly affected by the disaster and even in neighborhoods not directly affected by the disaster in a way threatening public health.
