Quds, Dec 12, 2009, SPA--An Israel-bound Turkish cargo ship has capsized in international waters some 80 km (50 miles) off the Lebanese shore and all but one of crew are missing, an Israeli military source said on Saturday, according to Reuters. An Israeli army spokeswoman said the Israeli navy and U.N. peacekeeping vessels stationed in Lebanon were searching for 12 missing sailors. She declined to give further details. Israeli media identified the Turkish cargo ship as Salla-2. The Israeli military source declined to comment on those reports.
