A group of lawmakers is questioning plans to try terror suspects in the United States and move Guantanamo Bay detainees to prisons on U.S. soil, according to AP. House Republicans say the Obama administration has failed to provide details on plans to close the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba prison and move prisoners to possible sites in the U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra said it was «irrational» to send some Guantanamo detainees overseas and transfer some to the United States. The Republican and others questioned plans to prosecute Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and four others in a civil federal trial in New York.
