Jordan is to take part in a conference on regional security, to be held in Manama, Bahrain, on December 11-13, 2009. The meetings are set to focus on all-out military aspects of the future of the Gulf security. The Jordanian delegation is set to comprise top level interior and security officials. The conference will also tackle the aspects of regional co-operation, future challanges jeopardizing the regional security, and how to thwart the threat of arms race, particularly, the nuclear. Energy, how to benefit from its sources, and nuclear energy for peaceful purposes would be too among its priorities. The conference will attract delegations from all over the world, organizers said. --SPA
