The official spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Mansoor Alturki highlighted the accomplishment of the second phase of the Hajj security plans for this year after the completion of the arrival of pilgrims in Mina. His remarks came during a press conference on the activities of Hajj for this year 1430 H. During the conference, he highlighted efforts to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and provide them with all needed services. The spokesman said that during the coming days, work will continue to implement the plans including those concerning the Hajj ritual of stoning. In replies to questions, he explained efforts exerted to facilitate the movement of pilgrims at the Hajj holy sites and stated that nothing undermined the progression of Hajj. The representative of the Saudi Red Crescent Dr. Khalid Alhabshi highlighted rescue efforts carried out by the Saudi Red Crescent. The representative of the Civil Defense Abdullah Alharthi talked about efforts to help victims of the heavy rain and floods in Jeddah and rescue operations there.
