Saudi Ambassador to Germany Dr. Osama bin Abdulmajid Shobokshi reviewed in a symposium held at the Saudi Embassy here last night the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the efforts of its founder late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud in its unification; the discovery of oil; social, economic and political developments in the Kingdom until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; his distinguished role in reforms; and the establishment of industrial and economic cities as well as scientific universities so that the Kingdom"s policies have enjoyed great respect and appreciation all over the world. Addressing the symposium entitled "Kingdom"s Important Role in Achievement of Peace in Middle East and Security in the World"", the Ambassador reviewed the Kingdom"s efforts in achieving peace in the region, its peace initiatives adopted by the Arab League and submitted to the international community and the contribution of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in reconciliation of Palestinians and the formation of a Palestinian national government which had been agreed upon in Makkah.
