Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a letter to Sheikh Sabah Alahmad Aljabir Alsabah, the Emir of Kuwait. The letter was handed by Saudi ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Abdulaziz Alfayez during an audience with the Emir here today. The letter contained a USD500 million contribution by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the fund of support for small and medium sized projects for the important role played by such projects in creating new jobs, improving the standard of living of people in the Arab World and fighting poverty. The fund was created by an initiative from the Emir of Kuwait during the Arab Economic, Development and Social Summit which was held in Kuwait early this year with a capital of USD2 billion. Kuwait contributed USD500 million.
