The Minister of Hajj Dr. Fuad bin Abdulsalam Al-Farsi inaugurated here today the Grand Hajj Symposium entitled "Safety in Hajj" organized by the Ministry of Hajj with the participation of Muslim Scholars, thinkers and men of letters. In his speech, Dr. Al-Farsi conveyed to participants the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier and their best wishes of all success for the Symposium, stressing the keenness of the Saudi leadership to provide best services and facilities for pilgrims to perform their rituals easily and comfortably. He noted that the three-day Symposium will discuss a number of topics contributing to the safety of pilgrims. In his lecture, the Kingdom"s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh laid stress on the security and safety of pilgrims, expressing his thanks to and appreciation of the King, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for the great services and facilities provided for pilgrims.
