The Arab Justice Ministers Council started a one-day conference here this evening under the chairmanship of Libya"s Minister of Justice Mustafa Abdul-Jalil with 17 items on its agenda, including mechanisms for combating terrorism, corruption, money laundering and organized crime. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Isa, led the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab Justice Ministers Council"s 25th meeting. In a press statement following the meeting, Al-Isa underscored the importance of coordinating Arab positions in the international legal platforms, describing the debate that took place during the meeting as rich and in-depth and the legal proposals reviewed in the justice and judiciary fields as promising. He said a number of legal proposals were forwarded to the Arab Interior Ministers Council for approval. --SPA
