Germany"s economic recovery is gaining ground with data released Friday showing Europe"s biggest economy grew by 0.7 per cent during the third quarter, according to dpa. Releasing the data, the nation"s statistics office also revised up the second-quarter figures saying that the country"s economy expanded by 0.4 per cent in the three months to the end of June. Germany emerged more swiftly than expected from recession in the second quarter to report an initially estimated 0.3-per-cent expansion rate. The third-quarter growth rate was roughly in line with analysts" projections.
