Shoura Council holds session

Presided over by its vice Chairman Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar, the Shoura Council held its 54th ordinary session.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Secretary General of the Shoura Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the council continued discussions of the report on the Companies Draft Law proposed by the Committee for Economic Affairs.
Dr. Al Ghamdi added that the 226 page report is mainly concerned with improvement of the investment environment and transparency in the Saudi economic sector.
He also added that the draft law, after the recent amendments, was a great step forward and would help set the suitable environment climate.
Dr. Al Ghamdi concluded that the report will be held for further discussions.
