Emad Al Harbi, a member of the Saudi Bodybuilding Team won the Silver Medal for the category of Body-weight below 85 Kg at the 1st World Amateur Men"s Bodybuilding Championships, which concluded today in Dubai. The six-day event was organized by the World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation (WBPSF) and hosted by Emirates Bodybuilding Federation (EBBF). Competitors form 69 countries participated in various categories of the event. On the other hand, Nasir Mohammed Alakhrash, won the bronze medal for the category of Body-weight below 80 Kg and Ali Ismail Jail also won the Bronze medal for Body-weight below70 Kg. Brigadier Salih Matar Al Suwat, the President of the Saudi Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation expressed his happiness over the swift and easy victories of Saudi competitors in the event. In a related development, The Saudi Bodybuilding team will compete in The International Federation of Body Builders( IFBB) Juniors & Masters World Amateur Bodybuilding, Fitness, Body Fitness and Wheelchair Bodybuilding Championships to be held in Bialystok, Poland, from November 13th to 16th, 2009. --SPA
