In implementation of the directive and follow-up of Saudi Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand Hassan Talat Nazer, the Consular Section of Saudi Embassy in Canberra has granted visas to nearly 4,000 pilgrims from Australia for performing Hajj this year. The Head of Consular Section at the Embassy Khalid bin Hammad Al-Shammari said in a radio interview with Australian "SBS" Radio that the Embassy has deployed all its potentials and capabilities to serve pilgrims from Muslim communities in Australia and has granted them visas in a record time. He also stressed the keenness of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on the health and safety of pilgrims.
