Third Asian Indoor Games Opens in Vietnam

Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet launched here last night the opening ceremony of the 3rd version of the Asian in indoor Games taking place in Hanoi - the Vietnamese Capital with the participation of 43 Asian countries including Saudi Arabia. The event is held under the auspices of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
The Saudi teams led by Dr. Rashid Hamad Al huraiwel, Secretary-General of the Saudi Olympic Committee will take part in Indoor Athletics; 3- on-3 Basketball, short-course swimming; indoor archery and Bowling, Billiards and snooker.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rashied Hamad AL huraiwel, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee as well as the head of the Saudi delegation to the multi-game event stressed the willingness and readiness of the Saudi candidates participating in the event to gain more sport achievements in all events.
