Herzegovina, Oct 29, SPA -- The State Prosecutor"s Office says police have arrested three former Bosnian Serb policemen suspected of taking part in the Srebrenica massacre, according to AP. The spokesman for the office, Boris Grubesic, said the three men were arrested Wednesday and are suspected of having commited genocide in eastern Bosnia. Police said it also searched the suspects" homes in Bijeljina and Srebrenica. Grubesic said Thursday those held are Mendeljev Djuric, 49, Dusko Jevic, 54 and Zoran Ilic, 43. Bosnian Serbs kept the eastern town of Srebrenica besieged throughout the 1992-95 war and overran it in July 1995. The fall of the town was followed by the slaughter of 8,000 Muslim men and boys which became known as the worst massacre in Europe since the Hitler-era. --SPA
