Qatari summit, the Makkah-based al-Nadwa said the summit held between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Qatari Emir, has come within the framework of the continuous coordination and consultation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar for either consolidating bilateral relations or reviewing the Arab and international situation. "The summit comes at a time when the Arabs and Muslims face threats from Israel which has been hurting the Muslim feelings by its vicious aggression against al-Aqsa Mosque," said the daily. The paper believes that the summit will provide a good opportunity to tackle the Arab problems including the problems in Iraq, Lebanon, Sudan and Somalia. Moreover, the summit is an important development for further cementing bilateral relations which are based on solid foundation, the daily added. -- More
