Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Minister of Higher Education, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) Dr. Khalid Al-Anghari opened here today the 2nd Conference of Quality in Higher Education under the slogan "Internal Quality Systems in Higher Education Institutions... Reality and Aspirations". The conference aims to promote a culture of quality, and support implementation of internal quality systems in the various higher education institutions in order to contribute improving educational outcomes in accordance with the needs of community and development requirements in the Kingdom, and to benefit from international experiences in this area. The conference will deal with planning and management of internal quality systems, providing high-quality programs, evaluating performance, and structural changes in systems of higher education as well as local, regional and global experiences in establishment of internal quality assurance systems. --SPA
