Prince Sultan bin Salman, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Disabled Children Association said Wednesday that the naming by HSBC - an international banking group of the Saudi Association among the top of the charitable organizations concerned with extending support to the handicapped children provides a clear evidence for the role and the achievements of the Association in the last 25 years. Prince Sultan bin Salman expressed happiness and pride for this development and said this development will be an incentive to the association for doubling its efforts in the service of the handicapped children. The Prince also sent a letter of thanks to managing director of the Saudi-British Bank (SABB) expressing appreciation for the initiative of HSBC as regards allocation of part of its charitable contribution to the Association and naming it among the international charitable organizations. Prince Sultan bin Salman recently received a Cheque for an amount of SR 281,000 which represents the support of the group to the association. In a message to Prince Sultan bin Salman, Saab's managing director Adel Marzouq said the bank had nominated the association in recognition of its distinguished role in the field of charitable works. --SPA
