Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem led his country"s delegation to the preparatory meeting of the GCC Interior Ministries" undersecretaries, which kicked off earlier today in Muscat, preparing for the 28th meeting of their Highnesses and Excellencies the GCC Interior Ministers due to be held in the Sultanate of Oman, later this month. In a speech delivered during the opening session, Dr. Al-Salem affirmed the role of the Kingdom to unify efforts among the GCC"s member states to strengthen their joint security cooperation in the fight against terrorism and organized crime under the directives of the GCC Ministers of Interior and the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his Assistant for Security Affairs Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. Then, the official working session started, reviewing the agenda of the meeting including a number of security issues of common interest to the GCC"s member states. -- SPA
