Saudi newspapers published today commented editorially on a number of local, Arab and international current developments. Locally, they highlighted the kingdom's efforts in fighting terrorism and Saudi security men confrontation of terrorists citing the successful operation of the Saudi security forces three days ago in Jazan. On another issue, the newspapers commented on the sixth meeting of the interior ministers of Iraq's neighboring countries stressing the importance of cooperation in confronting terrorism. On the Palestinian cause, the newspapers praised the Egyptian efforts to reconcile Palestinian factions.
