Annual eurozone consumer prices in the 16-member eurozone remained in negative territory in September, Europe's statistics office confirmed Thursday, according to dpa. Consumer prices slipped to minus 0.3 per cent in September from minus 0.2 per cent in August, the European Union's statistics office Eurostat said as falling energy prices helped to ease inflationary pressures. The data was in line with analysts' forecasts and confirm preliminary figures released last month by Eurostat.
