The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the 13th Ministerial Transport Committee to be held on Wednesday in Omani Capital, Muscat. Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraisri, the Minister of Transport will lead the Saudi delegation to the meeting that will tackle a number of topics including following-up the decisions of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council regarding the proposals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to expedite performance and remove obstacles that hinder the march of joint action; to permit GCC citizens to practice different kinds of transportation service activities in the GCC countries; to build GCC Transport sector data base; and to study the integration of means of transportations, GCC railway project and linkage of the Republic of Yemen to the project.
