Turkey freezes air force drill due to Israeli participation

Quds, October 11, SPA--The Israeli military says Ankara has
canceled an annual air force drill in Turkey this week
because of Israeli participation, AP reported.
Relations between the two countries have deteriorated
sharply since Israel's winter war in Gaza.
Turkey was especially vocal in denouncing Israeli
conduct during the war.
The Israeli military said in a statement that the drill
was delayed «indefinitely» because of Turkey's decision
... «not to allow the Israeli air force to take part.»
The Israeli military says the exercise was to have also
included, U.S., Italian and NATO forces.
