Under the Chairman of Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, General President of the Saudi Arabian Meteorology and Environmental Protection, who is also the President of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers Council in charge of Environment Affairs, the Executive Office of the Council concluded its 42nd session here today at the Arab League. In a press statement, Prince Turki bin Nasser said that the Executive Office followed up the implementation of the decisions of the World Summit Conference on Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Initiative in the Arab region. He added that an Arab action team was formed to develop a proposal for launching an Arab initiative on "Green Economy" to face the repercussions of the global financial crisis and environmental challenges.
