The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud arrived here today on an official visit to Syria in response to an invitation from President Bashar Al-Assad. At Damascus International Airport, the King was received by President Bashar Al-Assad; Minister of Foreign Affairs Walid Al-Moallem; Minister of Economy and Trade Amir Lutfi, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dayala Al-Haj Arif, Minister of Higher Education Ghiath Barakat, Minister of Oil Sufiyan Alaw, Minister of Information Dr. Muhsin Bilal, Minister of Culture Riyad Nasan Agha, Minister of Religious Endowments Muhammad Abdulsatar, Minister of Interior Major General Saeed Sammur, Minister for Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam, Head of the Protocol of the Republic Mohieddin Mosalamania, Saudi Ambassador to Syria Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Aifan and a number of senior officials. Then, the King shook hands with Vice-President Farouk Al-Shara, Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Utri, Minister of Finance Dr. Mohammad Al-Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs Walid Al-Moallem, Political and Information Advisor to the President Buthayna Shaaban and Minister of Information Dr. Muhsin Bilal. The Syrian President shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
