Yemen will take part in the 35th session of UNESCO's General Conference to be held in Paris on 6-23 October, Saba reported. Heading for the meeting along with an accompanying delegation that included members from various departments of the Education Ministry, minister of Education Abdul Salam al-Jawfi said the participants will hold round-table discussions tackling several topics related to education, culture and science. Yemen will present a working paper that will deal with the quality of education in the country as well as key issues such as education, culture, arts and sciences, and the Unesco activities, al-Jawfi said. Yemen will also attend a special meeting of the GCC Education Office.
