Head of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos) Anatoly Perminov and his NASA counterpart Charles Bolden wished good luck to a new space crew who are going into space on board the Russian Soyuz-TMA-16 spaceship on Wednesday. The space crew ready to start from Baikonur includes Russian cosmonaut Maxim Surayev, NASA astronaut Jeffrey Williams and a space tourist from Canada, Guy Laliberte, Itar-Tass reported. At a gala ceremony held on the occasion, Presidential aide Alexander Beglov gave the best wishes to the space crew on behalf of the Russian president. "He will watch your start,” Beglov told the space crew. For his part, Roskosmos Chief Anatoly Perminov reported to the space crew that preparations for the space flight were going ahead on the launching pad to schedule. Perminov wished good luck to the space crew and thanked them for good training.
