Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, who is also the Chairman of the Arab Thought Foundation, and the accompanying delegation arrived here today for the opening of a conference on "the Movement of Copyright in the Arab World". Upon arrival at Beirut International Airport, he was received by the Lebanese Minister of Culture Tammam Salam, the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Saeed Awwadh Asseri and other Saudi and Lebanese officials. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal expressed happiness for visiting Lebanon to participate in the celebration of selecting Beirut as the Capital of Book for 2009. For his part, the Lebanese Minister of Culture lauded the relations binding the two countries and the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in support of Lebanon.
