Chinese film wins San Sebastian festival's Golden Shell

Black-and-white Chinese war movie City of Life and Death by director Lu Chuan became a surprise winner Saturday of the Golden Shell, the top award at the San Sebastian film
festival, reported the dpa.
The movie about the Japanese occupation of China in World War II
prevailed over 14 other films in the Golden Shell competition.
