The Director General of Executive Office of Health Ministers Council of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khojah has expressed his happiness over the inauguration of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), describing the University as a gigantic scientific edifice that will be one of lighting-houses of science and knowledge, a bridge of communications between civilizations and peoples, a house of wisdom, and a forum of scientists. In a statement on this occasion, he said that the setting up and inauguration of this gigantic University by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud indicates the King's farsightedness and wise policy particularly at the start of the third millennium witnessing a scientific progress and unprecedented technological revolution.
