Leaders and representatives of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries leave Jeddah

A number of leaders and representatives of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries left here today after attending the opening ceremony of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
They were Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh; Jordan's King Abdullah II; Philippines' President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo; Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; and United Arab Emirates' Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of UAE President.
At King Abdulaziz International Airport, they were seen off by Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari; and a number of officials.
