Turkey and Iraq agreed to sign over 40 agreements at the conclusion of their first high level ministerial meeting here on Friday. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu said in a joint press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari that these agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed by the two governments when Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Iraq next month.
