The Arab League expressed its condemnation of the Israeli economic war in Palestine and its continued violations and aggressions against the Palestinian people ever since the occupation of Palestinian territories in 1967. Assistant Director General of the Arab League for Palestine Mohammed Subaih, who denounced the ongoing atrocities against Palestinians reflected in the daily arrests, killings and use of internationally forbidden weapons. He also expressed outrage over the current policies by Israel aimed to cripple Palestinian economy and development. In a press statement, Subaih said that such policies constitute war crimes adding that the international silence does not change the status of such atrocities. He also called for immediate legal prosecution of those responsible and be held accountable for violating international law and defying its resolutions Subaih also added that such measures are in stark contrast to the Geneva Convention and Human Rights agreements. -- SPA
