The Joint meeting of the GCC undersecretaries of finance, commerce and industry will start today in Jeddah. The meeting will consider the requirements of the Customs Union with regard to the standardization of customs protection fees, and dealing with commercial agencies. The meeting comes within the framework of the implementation of the decision of the GCC Supreme Council on the proposal of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to speed up performance and remove obstacles facing joint economic action in the GCC countries.
