Russia warns of new dispute with Georgia over naval blockade

Georgia risks another military run-in with Russia
if it continues a naval blockade of the breakaway province of
Abkhazia, dpa quoted Interfax as reporting.
"We demand that Tbilisi desist in its unjust activities in neutral
waters," read a ministry statement.
Previously, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrey Nesternko
had warned that the threats to shipping in the region could lead to
"serious military incidents."
Abkhazia is one of two breakaway republics that were recognized as
independent states by Russia in 2008 after a brief war between Russia
and Georgia.
