Al-Houthi rebels have breached a decision of the government to suspend military operations in Saada province and some parts of Amran province, north of Yemen, an official source in the Supreme Security Committee said on Saturday, according to Saba. The Yemeni government announced on Friday the declaration of suspension of military operations against al-Houthi rebels. "Despite the Government's commitment of its decision to suspend the military operations for delivering all food supplies and humanitarian assistance to displaced people in Saada, but the terrorist elements of subversion and rebellion violated their commitments to apply the decision, attacking al-Malahydh area of Saada and others in Harf Sufyan of Amran province", said the source to Saba. The source added that the rebels would take full responsibility for all consequences of such violations. The Yemeni government suspended actually its military operations at 9 pm (1800 GMT) Friday. According to a security source, this move came in response to calls of relief agencies to allow in aid for the war-affected people and commitment of the rebels that they will stop committing destructive acts and fighting the troops, the people and their properties.
