The Saudi Autism Charitable Society signed on Saturday an agreement with the Bureau of development studies and consultations for the translation of directory of the Pictures Exchange Communication System (PECS) from English to Arabic. This development comes after the approval of the owner of the intellectual property of the directory in the US (Pyramid Group Management Services Corporation). Speaking on the occasion, Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Autism Charitable Society, expressed appreciation for the great attention given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince to persons of special requirements including autism. Prince Turki bin Nasser said in a press statement that the PECS is one of the most important programs needed by teachers and specialists concerned with autism.
