Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior received here on Saturday President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Suwayil. At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Al-Suwayil briefed Prince Naif on the efforts exerted by KACST according to the National Policy for Science and Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Planning and with active participation of governmental and private sectors. Dr. Al-Suwayil listened to the directives of the Second Deputy Premier for the development of science and technology in various fields and for opening horizons of creativity and inventions for all talented people and for supporting them. Prince Naif emphasized importance of setting up distinguished higher institutes in the areas of scientific and technical applications at the university level and post graduate studies to create pioneering scientists, engineers and technicians along with the expansion of technical education and technical and vocational training.
