Police: 2 Iraqi soldiers gunned down at checkpoint

An Iraqi police official says gunmen have attacked a checkpoint in northern Baghdad, killing two
soldiers.
The official says the gunmen opened fire on an Iraqi
military checkpoint in Baghdad's Azamiyah district at about
6 a.m. Saturday. He says one soldier also has been wounded, according to a report of The Associated Press.
