Watan and Al-Yaum newspapers said that violent clashes in the Yemeni province of Saada between the army and followers of Al-Houthi Movement as well as the continuing tension in south provinces between the authorities and powers of the southern movement indicate that security escalation in Yemen has entered a new and dangerous turn. The papers stressed that Yemen's stability is vital to regional security in the Red Sea, the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa alike. The papers affirmed that attempts targeting Yemen necessitate finding radical and long-term solutions, pointing out that partial solutions have only led to accumulation of problems until they reached the points of explosion.
