Ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya met with Chilean President Michelle Bachelet Thursday, repeating his call for greater efforts by the United States to secure his reinstatement, according to dpa. "(If the United States) applies lukewarm measures the coup will not be reversed," Zelaya warned in Santiago. Zelaya was ousted on June 28 in a bloodless coup. He was exiled by the Honduran military, but his return to power has eluded him despite the strong support of the international community. Most countries and international organizations have refused to recognize the government set up after the coup, led by former Honduran Congress Speaker Roberto Micheletti.
