A spokesman for Hong Kong Department of Health said the region recorded 182 newly confirmed cases of A/H1N1 influenza in the 24 hours to 2:30 p.m.(0630 GMT) Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The new cases involve 98 males and 84 females, aged between 10 months and 82 years, the spokesman said.
This brings to the cumulative number of the cases to 5,991 in Hong Kong, said the spokesman.
