Quds city (JERUSALEM), August 02, SPA -- A United Nations spokesman says Israeli police have evicted two Palestinian families from an east Jerusalem neighborhood. A spokesman for the U.N. agency in charge of Palestinian refugees says police arrived before dawn and cordoned off the area before forcibly removing the families, totaling more than 50 people. Chris Gunness says U.N. staff later saw a bus bringing in Jewish settlers to occupy the homes, according to a report of The Associated Press.
