Saudi Newspapers commented in their editorials today on a number of issues at local, Arab and international arenas particularly the press conference held by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington on Friday, pointing out that the peace process in the Middle East will only be achieved through a comprehensive and an integrated approach. The papers said that the comprehensive approach mentioned by Prince Saud Al-Faisal includes the Arab Peace Initiative and consequently the return of all Arab rights, as well as the earnest addressing of all international resolutions on Arab-Israeli conflict particularly the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland. The press noted that Prince Saud's statement came in direct response to Clinton's call on the Arab world for normalization of relations with Israel, adding that Prince Saud has been clear in saying, "The call for the normalization of relations, the step-by-step approach, temporary security and confidence-building measures will not bring about peace." --MORE
