Swedish police say a fire in an apartment in a Stockholm suburb has killed six people, including five children. Two people were also injured in the fire, which started late Saturday in an apartment in Rinkeby, an immigrant suburb of the Swedish capital. Police say the victims were found in a stairwell in the building. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear but investigators say they believe it was an accident. Police say the victims were five girls ranging from a baby to a girl in her teens, and a woman in her 40s. They didn't release any other details. Rescuers said the fire was limited to one apartment, but other apartments in the five-floor building sustained smoke and water damage, The Associated Press reported.
