A 6.2-magnitude earthquake rocked the South Pacific island nation of Papua New Guinea on Saturday but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The quake's epicenter was off the island of Bougainville, 50 miles (80 kilometers) southwest of the provincial capital Arawa, the U.S. Geological Survey was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center geophysicist Robert Cessaro said the quake was too small to create a major tsunami.
