The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud patronized here today the opening ceremony of the building of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta in Taif. Upon his arrival, the King was received by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Prime, Minister of Interior; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Senior Ulema Commission and Religious Research Department and Ifta; and Fahd bin Abdulaziz bin Muammar, the Governor of Taif. Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques unveiled the plaque to mark the opening of the building of General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta in Taif. The six-floor building covers an area of 10,000 sqm, containing 166 rooms. The construction cost amounted to more than SR 90 million. The opening ceremony was attended by Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education; Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King; Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Adviser to the King; Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mansour bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Majed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; and a number of sheikhs, ministers and officials.
